Locks of Love 12" Donation

My first attempt at donation, the hair dresser didn't do it correctly. She did it with one big pony tail and didn't use a rubber band. You're supposed to use "pig tails" and rubber bands to secure the hair properly. Also, it's most common for the salon to send in the hair for you.

In November 2011 while in Eugene saying goodbye to my boys forever, I decided that I would attempt to do a donation again. And the salon I went to not only had an appointment that day, but because I was donating to Locks of Love, the hair cut was 1/2 off ($10)! Since I was prepared to pay $20, I gave the stylist a $10 tip. But my hair also looked great. Here's an after pic from that donation.

Fast forward to January 15, 2014 and I went in to see if I had the minimum 10" donation and still be able to have my hair just past my shoulders when dry which is the shortest I'll go. I had the minimum. Jason & I both love my long hair, but Locks of Love is such a good cause. So, after I picked up my cousin for school I told her I had a stop to make. And we went in to get my hair chopped off. Since we were going by keeping my hair a certain length, I was able to donate 12" total. My cousin took the before pics and I took the after pics.
