Princess Update #1

So Princess has been biting. Not sure if I'm overstimulating her or what. She'll bite my feet & hands. It seems to correlate with her being hungry. (She's still on a diet.) At the rate she's going, she's going to cause me the need for antibiotics. Luckily thus far, she's barely broken the skin. I'm going to try dosing her with Rescue Remedy to see if it will calm her down enough to stop the biting. Being the crazed cat lady I am, I don't mind, however, I'm sure others do. Not that she really sees anybody but me. And the vet (and vet staff). Wish me luck!

Health Update #3

I started physical therapy Last week. I'm going in twice a week for 4 weeks. Keeping me busy.

My mom returned from Thanksgiving with a sinus infection that she so kindly shared with me. I've had it for nearly 2 weeks now. Last Tuesday, my dr put me on antibiotics. They're drying me out, but it's still wearing me down.

I met with the pulmonologist & everything checked out clean. She referred me off to cardiology for a work up. They'll be looking for cardio pulmonary hypertension. This scares me. I'm 31, I feel too young to have heart problems. They'll also be able to look into my high triglycerides. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise.

I called my dr yesterday. I was having chest pain. They told me to hang up & call 911. Which I refused to do. I didn't want to go to the ER, yet again. I didn't think I would get the care I needed. And I was right. Upon my discharge, I still had chest pain & I was nauseated from this "GI cocktail" they gave me. They didn't treat either problem. I even told the dr that there is a referral in the works for a cardio work up. And the dr insulted me, insisting that I was a drug seeker staring "I can't give you narcotics," which I never asked for. I filed a complaint about how I was treated & my chest pain was dismissed. I'll get a follow up letter upon review.
